The Rev. Doug Neel, Vicar
The Rev. Doug Neel is a retired priest from Pagosa Springs. He also was a lecturer on ancient food and feasts. He previously owned a Dallas-based catering company, Manna Catering, which specialized in replicating first-century meals. He co-published a book in 2012 called The Food and Feasts of Jesus: Inside the World of First-Century Fare, with Menus and Recipes. Father Doug comes to us the first Sunday of every month and on major feast days of the year.
The Rev. Ed Nettleton
Father Ed comes to us from Lake City twice a month. Father Ed is an engineer, pilot, woodworker, and Episcopal priest. Ed and his wife Mary are both oblates of the Pecos Benedictine Monastery at Pecos, New Mexico and graduates of its school for Spiritual Directors. After many years in various sorts of ministry, most recently at St. James Episcopal Church in Taos, New Mexico, they felt called to "sing a new song unto the Lord" Pilgrim's Rest Ministries was begun in Lake City in June 1991.
